Answer: While I think there is great value in trying to resolve cases through collaborative law and mediation, oftentimes that’s just not the way that things are going to get resolved. A lot of times one party or another is intractable in their position, and in those situations we stand ready to fight. We treat each case going forward like it’s going to go to trial. So, we start with good preparation, we start with the ability to go to court and try that case on short notice if need be. We are ready to go. I will bring you along through the process: I will gather the documents that need gathering, I will advocate for the enforcement of the discovery motions where possible. And we are going to make sure that we have good information to work with, whether that’s discovery from your spouse, whether that’s discovery from the mother or father of your child in a legitimation matter, whether that’s discovery from a non-party to a case. Good information is key. So, I value good information, I work zealously to gather that information and we are not shy about trying a case where we think the case needs trying. And we’ve tried hundreds of cases. And I will never shy away from a fight that I think needs to be had for my client.
